The Baia dei Gabbiani Camping-Village is located right on the beach along the Maremma coastline, in Tuscany, Puntone di Scarlino, which is only 5 km south of the beach town, Follonica, from which the same Gulf in front of Elba Island takes its name.
The 1970s style campsite is spread out on a flat grassy land directly bordering the Municipality of Scarlino's public beach which is characterized by fine sands and a pleasantly sloping, very shallow sea. The campsite has areas for trailers and tents with electricity connections at 3 ampere max plus very comfortable bungalows (for more information click on the "Bungalows" button).
Absolutely ideal for families with kids and for all those who think vacations should be nonconformist, filled with sun, relaxation and freedom without leaving out sports and other activities that the area has to offer.
Inside the Campsite, guests have access to the following services and/or areas: the Restaurant mainly serving seafood dishes, the Bar (with bread and other main necessities, available on order only), the Barbecue area, the Laundromat, the First Aid Clinic, the free self-service "Dog wash", Beach umbrella and deck chair rental service; free entertainment for adults and children from mid July to the end of August.
Extra supplementary paid services:
- rental of beach umbrellas and deck chairs.
- half or complete board with an “a la carte” menu at our seaside restaurant, “Gino”, offering fish specialties.

In the centre of Puntone, which is about 400 meters away from the campsite, where the new tourist Harbour La Marina di Scarlino is located, there are all kinds of small shops and, younger guests will enjoy one of the most famous discotheques on the entire coast.
The Club Nautico (Sailing Club) Scarlino F.I.V. is located inside the Tourist Harbour. It organizes sailing regattas and, starting from June it also offers sailing courses for children.
Thanks to its privileged location right by the sea, there is a nice breeze on the campsite. Water sports enthusiasts can windsurf or kite surf with the help of the Kite surf school located close to the campsite.
